As a kid, I dreamed of becoming a boxer. I was enamored by those men and their agility. Their ability to stand back up to face their competitor after being knocked down. Their resilience.
This resilience is what drove me outside of the ring. I developed a passion for writing and understanding people better. At John Jay, I majored in English with a minor in Psychology. I did alright.
Still, I am not content. Writing is always an option, but I have to write outside the ring and not about what’s happening inside it.
I want to be there. Ringside. Court-side. Field Level. I want to not only experience the action, but be a part of it. I created this blog as a portfolio of my writing skills in hopes of achieving a career in sports broadcasting.
So welcome to my site. I will cover all types of events from boxing matches to tennis matches. From football to American football. From Formula 1 to track and field. Because I am intrigued by it all. By the athlete with the power to keep fighting, although the odds are against them.
